Blue Wednesday

Today is a blue day. A cloudy day with grey sky and windy weather. I had another bad experience this morning, which taught me some new lessons and realizations.

Lesson 1: There's no fair game in the reality.
People doubted and questioned about the ability to learn, to work and to perform well. All that because you've once fell. People wondered why and what makes you not as good as others. All that because of the past. So if you were once down, then you had better be prepared that you might fall again and again. Because equal chances will not be given on failure, you have to fight harder for it. Sound fair enough, though its sarcastic.

Lesson 2: Never overestimate yourself
Yeap, that's right. Never ever overestimated yourself and sometimes high confidence could be bad too. People used to look for confidence, but when you said it out, it then became something annoying to them. Again, people will asked what makes you think that you could stand out from the others? Since you are so confident that you could perform something required.

Lesson 3: Never to show your weaknesses
We were taught since kindergarten, to be a honest and reliable person. But its never true when it comes to revealing your weaknesses. It's definitely not a wise choice in admitting your failure in front of the others, even though that means you've learnt your lesson from the past. The chance to be discriminated or appreciated is 70/30. And the greatest of all, there's a high chance that you might be taken as an idiot by sharing it out.

Lesson 4: Failure has no privilage
Aw.. I hate to say that, but its so damn true. Failure has no privilage on almost anything. There's a very high chance that you will be viewed as a failure, if you're unluckily failed before. Either past or present, that just doesn't really matter. So make sure you never fail, because people will never look at you in the same way again once you've made the mistake.

I came to realize that there's nothing like there's always a second chance. Even if there is, it's not an equal and fair chance also. So folks, make sure you do your best all the time. The real world doesn't accept any failures. And once you fell, the nightmare might just haunt you for the rest of your life.
