MY Day

Woke up in the morning, cleaned myself, packed all the things and off I went to Uni for errands. Reached the office just half an hour before lunch time, but too bad, the office was closed half an hour earlier for a farewell lunch. And it was closed just 2 minutes before I reached for the door. "Today is NOT my day." At first I thought, but then I chose to face it with an open heart, since nothing can be done at the moment.

So quickly I arranged a lunch meeting with the special one, who currently works at somewhere nearby that area. This time I am lucky though, to finally have somone for lunch. I took some time to the photocopy shop and had my things prepared, before I finally left to lunch.

Met the special one at the station, and we went to a western restaurant in Bangsar South. It's a great place with nice ambience, delicious food, and worthiness. Because it's not expensive!! :D Although it only took an hour for us to have lunch, but somehow I felt that its rare and I started to appreciate the time that we could spend together.

Went back to Uni for the unfinished business, and head to bookshop at the nearest shopping mall for books. Walked and read around the bookshop for almost 3 hours and my stomach started to ask for food. I know its because the Korean restaurant near the corner which I walked by earlier.

I found myself sitting all alone in the restaurant, after I finally settled down, as I am the only customer. But nevermind, I can still enjoy my food as long as its nice and especially when I am craving for it. :P It was really hard for me to make the decision, everything seem so delicious in my eyes, as I run through the menu slowly. But finally, I ordered Toppokki - Korean Spicy Rice Cake, serves with 3 side dish and a bowl of hot soup, and I got myself another cup of warm Roasted Barley Tea.

Food came in just a few minutes, but enough for me to flip through the first few pages of my new book. On my way home that day, I realized that it was actually MY day afterall. :) As for certain reasons, I have not enjoy the personal time solely for myself for quite some time.

I annouched it quietly in heart that today is a brief escape for myself, from the recent happening. Without my notice, the curve on my mouth was lifted along the way home. :)

Simple Happiness

I had a wonderful weekend, though there's imperfection, mainly due to the "usual-mum and daughter-argument", but still I think its one of the best weekend I ever had recently. :)

Saturday

Well, I will called it "The Movie Day", if I were to ask to name the day. *lol* Watched the comedy "This Means War" and also like finally the "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island". Never thought that I could still catch up with this movie in cinema, as it was on screen for quite some time, and I only have time for it now.

Visited a few shops in the mall and I had few things added into my shopping list. Not a good sign though, and I needa get myself a job, seriously. Had tried on the Hokkaido Mille Crepe in Chocolate Mint flavor and also another take-away in Rum and Raisin flavor for mum.

The night soon approached after we had the crepe, and it's almost time to fetch mum for dinner. But still we head it to Sticky before go home. We bought ourself 2 small jar of hand-made candy - BlackCurrent and Lime.
BlackCurrent Rocks :)

*p/s: Just to let you know, I am actually happy to receive the candy from you. Sometimes, all I want is just small surprises like this, simple yet always heart-warming. It could always lighten up my day by receiving something you bought.

Sunday

The day started unexpectedly with another argument with mum, frankly its not a good way to start a day though. Good mood spoiled and head was still pounding in pain, by the time I leave home.

Met with my bestie and also one of my best listener ever, could always made up my day. One of our meeting routines is to share a lot about our recents, and to try to have our problems solved. Afterall, we were no longer the burden-free undergraduates.

Had some photos together as usual, and we went for desserts in Snowflakes. Also the not-to-miss-out window shopping, which added another few more things onto my shopping list. Again, I needa get myself a job, SERIOUSLY I mean it.

I joined Uncle Chris family for dinner at night, and only came to know that it's Aunt Christina's Chinese B'day. *Happy Birthday, Aunt Christina!!* We went for western at StarVillage, the main branch of the StarVillage franchise.

The night was fine, with nice food, jokes, silly complaints and photo-snapping with couz Jen. Anyway, photos will only be uploaded later. ;)

I'm craving for shabu-shabu and steamboat recently. Reminds me a lot of the Sze Chuan Ma-Lat Shabu that I had during my visit to Sg. It was one of the nicest Shabu I ever had. :P

*p/s: Always remember what we have, rather than what we don't; and also to take time cherish for the happiness, instead of grieving for the sadness. Life would be a lot easier and happier then. ;)

Beloved Granny

After the effort and hard work paid by the family taken care of her, she recovered and looked active as she was in the old times. Took some photos of my beloved granny on the other day, more than happy to see her in such good condition. :)

The always-smiling Granny ;)

The Celebration

I had the celebration with bestie and also the special one on this special occasion, making it more like a gathering than a sweet candle light dinner for couple. But who cares? This occasion is not only meant to be celebrated by couple afterall. And friends are equally important to me, as well as family and the special one, so why not celebrate and share the happiness together? :)

For these recent years, I've became less interested in celebrating for the occasion, if were to compared with many years ago during high school and collage days. As I've finally learn that I'm no longer youngsters that looking forward for some simple romanticness. Obviously my demand has grown simultaneously with my age, wanted something unique that could brigthen up my day, made me scream out something like "OMG" or just simply speechless with pure touched. But seems like I've been day-dream a little too often when I realize that so hard to have it come true in the reality.

It was a pleasant night though, sharing the recent updates and nice food with each other. Had a walk in the night market nearby before we continue the chat with a drink in cafe. We always have so much to share for most of time we met, can't wait to update each other with the recent news and happening. And I'm just glad that our friendship doesn't fade in times. :)

(From left) Raspberry, Passion fruit and Green Apple Soda
(Do they look familiar to you??) :P

Pavlova (whipped cream and strawberries)!!!

Tomato Spaghetti with Prawn

Thai style Fish Rice
Cream Dory

My Homemade Dish

Had this feeling to prepare my own meal during the long holiday, and since I got most of the ingredients needed so I tried on a few new dishes.

The 1st meal that I had was Teriyaki Salmon with Salmon Miso and Rice. The cooking is kinda simple, and only required few main ingredients like salmon fillet and miso paste.

So far so good, isn't it? :P

2nd dish was Tomato Olive Spaghetti with Bacon chip. Ingredients are tomato spaghetti sauce, bacon chip and of course spaghetti.

Looks good to me :)

The 3rd dish I've tried to prepare was Bacon and Salmon Roll with fried wedges, in which mushrooms and salad greens wrapped in it, and finished by some sweet honey sauce.

Favourite Bacon and Salmon roll, with sweet honey sauce and wedges in the middle ;)

Hope it won't be too much for brunch *lol* :P

The Family Day

Fetched Aunt Suet Lan for groceries shopping the other day, and finally we had lots of daily necessities, after went through few pharmacies and supermarkets. I paid granny a visit before we head for the shopping that morning. Granny looked tired and appetite-less, that just doesn't look like the usual her anyway.

We got home in the evening, and started to consume the sushi that we bought earlier from the supermart right after. We had skipped lunch for we had late breakfast, and also to settle the shopping list earlier and get home. But still mom couldn't rush for the dinner, as dad off work early that day and so we went for the alternative.

Had a fulfilling and delicious dinner at our usual makan place, while we enjoyed the night peacefully as a family. Sometimes, I would think its hard to keep all of us happy and enjoyable during the family gathering, though it's a small family that we had.

What can I say? Mom and dad were obviously individuals with different characters, and will seldom share common thoughts except when they have to. While I am more like the middle man most of the time, by sharing characters from both of them. But this middle man wouldn't work sometimes, as myself are a bad tempered person. =.= So it's not hard to imagine the situation that could be happen in our family, when we got into conflicts and cold wars.

Well, sometimes when I look at my family tree, I will find that I had a lot to treasure. A cold-faced dad, a strict mom, a always easy going and friendly granny, nice and generous uncles and aunts, cute and pretty counsins....... and the list goes on. :)

And like usual families, we will have conflicts and misunderstanding as well. But most of us in the family had shared a sense of humour in our gene, I would say. Not knowing inherited from who, but it did somewhat made us to be one of the most awesome and hilarious family that I've ever seen. XP Especially granny, I would say she is the coolest grandma to me.

It's not easy to deal with different people and situations in the family. But that's my lovely family, though not-easy-to-go-long-with yet always special to me. :)

"Big-Small Eyed" and "Small-Small Eyed"??

Happy Birthday, Dad.

Today is your b'day. I am more than happy and glad to be able to celebrate it with you and mum. :) It's precious moment for us to share as a family.

You are the one who pull us together, when me and mum had cold war. You are the one who raise me and support the family all the way long. Though you seldom speak, but you are also the one who try to be understanding.

You used to keep words in your heart, and not to share it out. I used to have a lot of misunderstanding with you when I was young. As you used to be cold and "unfriendly" compared to mum. But in times, I find that you are actually a soft-hearted and caring person too as I grown up. Sometimes, when I had flash backs, I will realize more about you. That was time when I am grateful to have a daddy like you. ;)

I know I had you worried for times, when I hang out late, when I am still not capable in fully taking care of myself and when I am still so emotional and bad tempered as I used to be. But I will tried to have you less worried, to the best I could. Thanks for being patient in bearing my temper. Thanks for being considering and understanding when I had the worst time of my life. Thanks for tried to be a nice and caring daddy for me.

To my beloved dad, Happy Birthday. Stay happy and healthy always. :)

Cute Biao Mei..s!!

Well, I had promised to write you girls a post, so here it is. :p

To be exact, its Jen who asked a post from me, but how can I ever leave you behind, Jess!! Hehe.. And I think I am lucky though, 'cause like finally, I got a picture from you girls!! Which was left on desktop, accidentally may be?? Nevermind, ' cause I think its fate. Muahaha... :D

So, where should I start? Jess is the elder sister, and Jen is the younger one. And you both have different character. Crap!! I know. =.=" Whatever it is, you two are definitely the coolest and cutest cousin sisters I ever had. ;)

Never have I thought that I would watched you girls to grow. It was just like yesterday, that you girls were going to attend the 1st day of primary. And just a blink of eyes, that you girls already grown to a pretty young lady and are going to have the most beautiful and joyful period of life. So much changes in you girls, and so do I. :)

Regardless of the age gap, I could still learn something from you girls. You remind me of the passion towards friendship, love and life, and also my high school's memories. In which relationship with best friends and couple are the most important things in life. I almost forgot that I also have experienced it before. Memories that seem too far for me to remember. XP

Anyhow, best wishes from me, to both my cutest Biao Mei. Live your life to the fullest and always appreciate things that worth to be appreciated. Stay happy always, though sometimes its hard. "Life is never easy, so walk through it and grow up." You girls are bright, so I have faith in you. ^.~

Beloved Cute Biao Mei..s!! ;)
Cheers!! xoxo :)

Happy

Had a very enjoyable and fun trip to Sg last week. :) Went to USS and also the Sentosa Park in the 3D2N trip. And finally I saw the animal that I like the most, that is the dolphin in the Dolphin Lagoon. Couldn't imagine that I would have the chance to see them one day, as I used to think that it can only be seen abroad. I spent the time visitting the Sentosa Park before I board the bus and back to KL on the last day evening.

Spent another day in USS, walked and played around 'till the night approached. Took the ride on the most recommended "Transformer Ultimate 3D Battle: The Ride". To be honest, I am kinda amazed with the technology used in this ride. Didn't expect it to be that "real". :p Well, I have tried on it and it was really cool. ;)

Other than Transformer, the "Battlestar Galatica" and "Jurassic Park" are also my favourite. Had a few rides in these theme park, where screams and laughters filled the air. Took one whole day for me to visit the whole USS, as there were long queues for almost each and every ride. =.= But still I manage to take a quick dinner and catch the water dance performance at the Lake of Dreams. Went for a walk in Vivo City before I finally head back to the hotel and rest.

Its a suitable place to take photo, with different characters and decorations in each distinct theme. So I had took some photos and also bought souvenirs from the gift shops in USS, to remind myself about the memorable moment. :)

Favourite - Keychain with b'day month written and blue stones inside ;)

xoxo :)
